My name is Bruce Hatch and I am the owner of Tree of Life Counseling Services located at 3225 Templeton Gap Road, Unit 103, Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
I have been working in this field since approximately 1986. At that time I was still in undergraduate school at the University of Utah where I began an internship with Salt Lake County Youth Services as as a youth counselor. In 1992, my family moved to Denver, Colorado and I have been gaining experience in many areas of the social services field eventually landing here at my private practice. Through my many years of dedication to working with each family and/or client’s needs, I have found that there are similar issues and needs that initiate children, teens adults and families into their current emotional driven distress. This can be healed and worked through with many different approaches specific to each individual and family’s beliefs, values and culture and comfort. I am committed to each client with every need and will consider it an honor and privilege to walk with you in a journey of healing and support.
I have Masters degree’s in Marriage Family and Child Therapy and Public Administration. I also have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor regulated by the Colorado Department of Regulatory agencies (DORA) an Approved Clinical Supervisor regulated by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) a National Certified Counselor certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)a full provider in EMDR via EMDR International Association (https://www.emdria.org/) .
